Shanice Stanislaus is a multiple award-winning actor, theatrical clown, comedian, writer, and creative director/producer working internationally across stage and screen.

Her comedy-clown show Mail Ordered has won three Canadian awards — the Pick of the Fringe Award (Vancouver), Patron’s Pick Award (Toronto), and Jester’s Cap Emerging Artist Award (Calgary) — and was nominated for the Artistic Risk Award at the Vancouver Fringe Festival. She made her New York Comedy Festival debut in 2024 with her comedy-clown show $$$, and in 2025 was selected as a featured speaker representing Singapore in TED’s Global Idea Search, where she spoke about what clowning taught her about failure.

Shanice has worked with and trained under some of the leading figures in contemporary theatre and clowning, including French theatre master Philippe Gaulier, Flamenco maestro Antonio Vargas, UK director David Glass, Spanish director Alberto Velasco, and Broadway choreographer Sue Samuels. She has also trained with award-winning UK contemporary clown theatre company Spymonkey.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Yale-NUS College and has trained at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and École Philippe Gaulier in Paris. Through her company Creatives Inspirit, she works internationally as a performer and teaching artist, delivering workshops and creative development programmes across North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.

Shanice is currently represented by Metropolitan Artists’ Agency in New York City and is developing original projects for television and screen alongside her performance and teaching work.
