ACTOR / EDUCATION & OUTREACH MANAGER

AMI FIRDAUS is irrevocably in love with the world. He is relatively new to theatre and dance, having only started to dabble in both in his first year of college at Yale-NUS. His first performance was under the direction of Creatives Inspirit's very own founder and director, Shanice Nicole Stanislaus, for an experimental piece titled (there's nothing here). Ami was one of the main cast members in Shanice Stanislaus' latest work, La Mariposa Borracha, clowning around and dancing the night away as El Perro Loco. Ami mainly enjoys hip-hop and contemporary styles of dance, and tries to incorporate both in his work with Shanice.

Outside of theatre and dance, Ami is an avid sportsman, having trained in a wide range of sports such as Hockey, Tchoukball, Floorball and Fencing. To him, sports is beyond physical fitness and sports skills; sports form a strong part of his coping mechanism towards being mentally healthy.

Ami also enjoys the process of research and confronting the big questions in society, having done research in psychosocial recovery in post-disaster society and political ecology of palm oil sustainability. He is also currently involved as a researcher for a National Geographic Young Explorer's film on mangrove conservation in Singapore's Pulau Ubin, currently being produced by Rachel Quek Siew Yean. He is particularly passionate in sharing the importance of understanding what sustainability means through an anthropological lens.

LESHA MANSUKHANI is pursuing her third year of her liberal arts education at Yale-NUS college with a major in Art and Humanities focusing on theatre and film. She is currently interning at Pangdemonium with the production team for her summer break whilst working on this project. She also was a assistant stage manager for the ’The Rishi and Sharul Show’ at Complete Communicators. In her short college life thus far, she has managed three theatre productions and produced three short films. She is very excited to aid Shanice Nicole Stanislaus  alongside Sonia Kaur to produce this stellar production and take it to greater heights.

SONIA KAUR is a third-year student at Yale-NUS College, with a major in Environmental Studies. When she’s not busy hugging trees, she tries to dabble in theatre and film productions. She only started exploring her creative side in university, and since has stage-managed 2 productions and has been an artistic director for 2 short films. She is perpetually in adoration for Shanice and Lesha, and cannot wait to see how La Mariposa Borracha evolves and captivates audiences yet again!
