AMI FIRDAUS is irrevocably in love with the world. He is relatively new to theatre and dance, having only started to dabble in both in his first year of college at Yale-NUS. His first performance was under the direction of Creatives Inspirit's very own founder and director, Shanice Nicole Stanislaus, for an experimental piece titled (there's nothing here). Ami was one of the main cast members in Shanice Stanislaus' latest work, La Mariposa Borracha, clowning around and dancing the night away as El Perro Loco. Ami mainly enjoys hip-hop and contemporary styles of dance, and tries to incorporate both in his work with Shanice.
Outside of theatre and dance, Ami is an avid sportsman, having trained in a wide range of sports such as Hockey, Tchoukball, Floorball and Fencing. To him, sports is beyond physical fitness and sports skills; sports form a strong part of his coping mechanism towards being mentally healthy.
Ami also enjoys the process of research and confronting the big questions in society, having done research in psychosocial recovery in post-disaster society and political ecology of palm oil sustainability. He is also currently involved as a researcher for a National Geographic Young Explorer's film on mangrove conservation in Singapore's Pulau Ubin, currently being produced by Rachel Quek Siew Yean. He is particularly passionate in sharing the importance of understanding what sustainability means through an anthropological lens.

ZIYAD BAGHARIB is an actor and theatre-maker. He first started acting at the age of 17, during his time in Raffles Players. Since then, he has acted in various Singaporean productions, ranging from original Malay pieces such as Lockdown by Hatch Theatrics to classic local staples such as Those Who Can't, Teach by Yellow Chair Productions. He and his friends also started up the youth collective Couch Theatre, which between 2013 and 2016 staged plays such as The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh and The Effect by Lucy Prebble, which he acted in and directed. During his time in Yale-NUS College, he was actively involved in its theatre scene, taking on such roles as the titular role of Hamlet and the lead role of Finch in Overtime: An Original Musical.
His keen interests in religion, anthropology, music and theatre have intersected in wonderfully rewarding ways, leading him to take on all sorts of personal, ethnographic and artistic projects - from living with Salafi Muslims in Perlis, to frequenting illegal gambling dens in Geylang, to documenting Batak songs of Lake Toba, to filming the 'underground' Kuda Kepang scene in Singapore. He hopes that his curiosity and desire to connect with people can infect others to desire the same.

Jon
project lead / cinematographer
Jon Tan is a Director and Cinematographer who believes those job titles make him sound far more important than he actually is.
He also believes the world needs more working artists in it, so creative children have living proof that their dreams can come true. Jon has shot for clients such as VICE, Grab and the National Arts Council. His fashion film, That Hat! was an official selection at the 2020 Athens Fashion Film Festival, 2020 Fargo Film Festival and the 2020 Madrid MICRO Film Festival.
He also runs the boutique video production company, ROTOTORO.
Again, all of this makes him sound more important than he actually is. Jon is a very ordinary man who enjoys meowing at cats and waving at babies.
